Practicals began this week with learners getting hands on experience in the vegetable gardens, dairy, working with the pigs and horses, and general upkeep. The grade 12 classes are doing their practicals in the Agritech workshop. Practicals are a vital element of learning at Landbou, as they ensure that the learners are able to apply theory learnt in class in a practical environment.
On Thursday, Landbou learners celebrated the month of love with a successful sokkie organised by the enthusiastic grade 11 learners. Thank you to Chantell from Pixalation for organising photos of the event.
Congratulations to all the boys chosen for first team rugby, we look forward to getting to see you in action!
The newcomers concert held on Friday was a rip-roaring success, with every new learner approaching it with excitement and fully integrating themselves into the Landbou culture. After entertaining the school with their variety show, the newcomers finished off with a wonderful rendition of the school song.
Bongi Nkosi (Shaka), 2018 Landbou head boy, is helping out with sports and choir. He is an integral part of the Landbou team. We look forward to his future interactions with the school.
