During the holidays the Matrics attended winter school. In spite of finishing off a long term and exams, the matrics still put a lot of effort into the winter school. Thank you to all the Grade 12’s who attended the winter classes, as well as the teachers for their dedication.
Well done to the following rugby players who participated in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal games during the holidays. Melusi Mbatha and Malwande Hlophe played u/19 rugby in Reitz. Anathi Ndaba and Richard Gyamfi participated in the Frankfort VKB Rugby week.
Congratulations to the following learners who represented the Zululand u/19s at the Telkom Junior Netball Championships which were held in Cape Town from the 10th until the 14th July: Chichi Sibisi, Samke Biyela and Nonduduzo Ntuli.
The first week of school finished on a glamourous note, with the Matric Farewell. The theme was Masquerade Ball and the learners certainly didn’t disappoint. They arrived in style and absolutely sparkled. It was certainly a night to remember. Thank you to all involved in the organisation and to the Grade 11s for acting as servers and the bubbly MCs.
