This week at Landbou was one again loaded with work and other activities.
A stunning Valentine’s Day hamper was raffled off, with learners eagerly selling tickets to their friends, family and teachers! The lucky winner was Ntombenhle Khumalo, a learner at Landbou. The school was an array of colours on Valentine’s Day, with learners dressed in civvies to celebrate the day. The halls bustled with excitement; especially, when the Grade 11s handed out the Valentine’s goodies they sold as part of their Matric farewell fundraising. Our principal, Mr Geert Slump, proudly accepted an award on behalf of the school to honour Landbou’s 2021 100% Matric pass rate. Congratulations to all learners and teachers who worked exceptionally hard towards this outstanding achievement. Learners are hard at work, not only in the classroom, but also with extra-murals. Practice for winter sports has commenced, as well as practicals and extra classes. Land service members also had their first meeting this week. Well done to Mr Richard…
