Landbou welcomed all staff and students, both old and new, back with an enthusiastic and busy term programe. Leading the way was a rugby clinic held before school officially opened for the year. A leadership camp was held for the incoming prefects  it was all about bringing the learners together,  and teaching them how to develop into better individuals, while having  lots of fun. They had a full day of running around looking for treasure all over Landbou’s large, beautiful  premises . They were even give a chance to showcase their creativity,  with some DIY projects. Overall the camp was a huge success, with everyone enjoying this special opportunity whilst also learning how to become better leaders in the process. A stunning Valentine’s Day hamper was raffled off, with learners eagerly selling tickets to their friends, family and teachers! The lucky winner was Ntombenhle Khumalo, a learner at Landbou. The school was an array of colours on Valentine’s Day, with learners dressed in civvies to celebrate the day. The halls bustled with excitement; especially, when the Grade 11s handed out the Valentine’s goodies they sold as part of their Matric farewell fundraising. Our principal, Mr Geert Slump, proudly accepted an award on behalf of the school   to honour Landbou’s 2021 100% Matric pass rate. Congratulations to all learners and teachers who worked exceptionally hard towards this outstanding achievement. Learners are hard at work, not only in the classroom, but also with extra-murals. Practice for winter sports has commenced, as well as practicals and extra classes. Land service members also had their first meeting this week. Well done to Mr Richard…
